INXS was dissapointing but Motley Crue was VERY Entertaining....

Well, this is my first "Blog" so I'll keep it short... just to see what happens when I'm done...

We were excited to see INXS tonight.. and whle the show wasn't bad... I was kind of dissappointed... the Sound wasn't the best I've heard at the Metro Centre..but it did get better as the night went on.... and as much as I think its cool the local boy made good... for me... J.D.'s antics were a little over the top.... reminded me of Anna Nicole Smith.. with a the gratuitous self touching....

but oh well.. thats just me... call me an olf fuddy dud....

but then again... no... I'm ok with vulgar.. to a point.. and if thats what you are expecting when you buy your ticket...

Take the Motley Crue concert last month as an example.... ... WAY over the top... and cheesey... but, to be honest... I loved it...

(OK, Im a little Cheesey too.... "Less Artsy... More Fartsy" to quote homer Simpson)

They had serious P.A. trouble... ok, the sound system sucked.... but it was still a great show overall....

Everyone there was a true FAN.. knew all the words of all the songs.. Even the B-side tunes... (for those of you old enough to remember what b-side means) and I got the sense the Band felt that.. Tommy gave a VERY emotional Speech about how appreciative he was of the Crowd...... and promised to come back ..... and then.. of course... was the Ever popular T_TTY cam!!!! Who wouldn't enjoy seeing that... and Who Knew Halifax had such and Abundance of REALLY NICE ONES....

and, well... what can I say.... It was not as classy as Celine, but It was still cool..
Ok the boys are a little past prime.. but man.. they were a kick as band in the day...
And While Vince's voice was not like it was in past Glory days... it was better then I expected especially being some 20 years after my first Motley Crue Record...

I heard in Alberta somewhere Tommy couldnt play... so they aparantly hired the drumer from a Motley Crue Cover band to fill in.... Talk about COOL... I'd do it for FREE!!!! that is If I could play drums.... Heck, I'd be content to be namless back up keyboardist number three for Anyone... From Garth Brooks, and Brad Paisley, to Deep Purple, or even the Saturday Night live House band....

anyway... this blog stuff is new to me... Maybe I'll get better as I do more... or maybe not.....
