Alice Cooper concert was cool

ok.. its 60 year old Alice... but the dudes still got it...

to his credit.. he didnt try to reclaim his youth.. He moved, and acted like a 60 year old dude who can still rock.... and not like a 60 year old pretending to be 20....

And the man does not Curse..... that was Impressive... apparantly, he never has....
there were also a lot of cool local stories of him shopping at the local mall, even golfing at a local course....

Helix, the opening act... well..... I used to love those guys.. and had seen them before.. and to be honest... close your eyes.. and they still sound great... but in contrast to Vinnie's acting his age... these guys were trying a little too hard to "kick it like they used to" but again... Close your eyes.. and man... they sounded great...

the back up singer.... um... could have been Sass Jordans mom... ok.. thats mean of me... I've no right to say that... give credit where credit is due.... She could F__king Sing!!!! Amazing voice actually... .... But, while I won't guess her age... (she was most likely north of 40 to say the least).. I thought her to be a little to "mature" to be still dressing like and 18 punk rocker.. SNo doubt, she's till Got it for her age... but definatly not 18

At first I thought this was odd.... but then I thought... "Maybe its the same back up singer they used int he 80's... and if so... I'll appologize for being an ass.... and give Kudo's to the bands management for not firing her in favor of a lesser singer with a better body.... to many acts do this i think.... I guess it just Business.. there was an Act from Newfoundland that was up and coming in the early 90's... Thomas trio and the Red Albino... they dumped their lady Keyboardist for a lesser tallented, but Considerably HOTTER Chick...... and man... she was HOT... but, not as talented as the former in the music dept.... the band faded out... Im not sure why... maybe it was karma... who knows... but anyway......

that said... I think it would take considerable Guts to Stick to your guns and keep the original singer around.... but again... I'm not even sure thats the case... just one possible scenario I guess...

at the end of the day.. I'm really not Qualified to judge any of these acts... I can't say I've accpomplished anything in music that would entitle me to be a critic.... Im not even a has been, just a wannabe...
