Best Laid Plans
well.. i fully intended to get some more work done tonight on the taxes, and/or mixing.. but after i got the little one to sleep, I came down, looked at the pile of receipts on the floor, the busting open envelops of receipts still not totaled... and decided no.. not tonight..
instead I messed around with Quicken a bit.. (I committed to using it weekly so next year this nonsense will be easier) stuff the totalled receipts away, and called it a night...
Not that its late... but I need a break... was a long day (seems they all are) and I need to have my "top game" available for tomorrow.. so I think I'll just hit the hay early...

I went to help Kelv Parsons dig around his pool when he first bought his cabin..
It was hard work, and a hot hot day, and I had on rubber boots, jeans, no shirt and a ratty old cowboy hat.. Shivel in hand..
Gordly Lemmy said "Look, here comes Festus all ready to Dig"
and it stuck... sort of..but I didnt mind.. I'd certainly been called worst..
Back in the day, we all had CB's in our cars... Festus was my handle..
