I met this guy, Rob Mills on a plane after coming back from Collingwood..

Anyways, After meeting SuperStack while there, the trip was Highlighted once again by meeting Rob on the plane..

after the typical airplane politeness I asked, "so what do you do?"

Well, he told me he was an electrical (or was it mechanical, sorry Rob) Engineer, from Halifax, working in Toronto.. But his dream was to be a full time Musician... then he said.."what about you?"

I said "Substitute Halifax and Toronto, for PortAuxBasques and Halifax, and Engineer for 'My Job' (I don't mix my work and Blogging, so I dare not mentioned it here) and my story's essentially the same..

Anyway. long story short, instant buddy..

I showed him my "Almost Famous"idea, and he played his Demo's

one Big difference between us though, Unlike me,... Rob (as in Rob Mills, not me, bugs me when people refer to themselves in the third person) is actualy doing something with it.. as opposed to my just talking,daydreaming and hobby status...


Anyways.. He's got Four FANTASTIC tracks here on his site and was just talking to him today.. and he told me he's quit his job to focus on Music Full time..

Rob buddy, I admire you! and I'm envious. I hope you get a record deal and make Millions and Millions of Dollars bro!! Big move man, takes balls.. wish I could take itthe leap with you..

At the very least though, I can do what I can to support it!

Wayne and I are or hoping to finish 2 songs and send them to him within a month for him to use.. realistically, he (Rob) stands a better chance of taking them somewhere then we do.. And I'd rather have a little part of something big, then a big part in something small!! and i really think this guy CAN make it BIG!
