Dwight Yokam Concert was Good

It was Bare bones, well, in comparison to Shows like the Stones, U2, Eagles.. etc... But I like those... Then its just all about the music... no flash...

Anyway.. Yes.. Im a Dwight Yokam fan.. and While I believe there were some sound issues (his mike was a little to highly eq'd, his Acoustic Guitar sounded tinny, and the bass was kind of lost in the mic) they seemed to work through them as the set progressed.. Unfortunatly, I missed the last half of the show as I had to leave early to make the Big Leagues Gig...

But the higlight for me, Trena too... was actually the opening act..


I have to admit.. I've never heard of Johnny Reid before, but that don't mean anything as I'm just out of the loop.. But man.. HIS band.. was INCREDIBLE.
Tight Sound, Great Mix, and AWESOME players.. and ALL young Guys... Absolutley INCREDIBLE... they even Covered Tom Jones, "Darling"

We Bought his CD, stood in line for the Autograph, and while the CD is also good, the LIVE sound, witht that band.. was better..

Gotta love music..
